Warm Home Discount Scheme (WHD)

All licensed electricity suppliers and all licensed gas suppliers connected to a licensed electricity supplier are required to notify Ofgem of the number of domestic customers retained by the licensee on the preceding 31 December to whom it supplies:

  1. electricity (other than as part of a supply of dual fuel);
  2. gas (other than as part of a supply of dual fuel); or
  3. dual fuel,

with a supply of dual fuel being treated as a supply to two domestic customers.

All licence holders are required to submit their notification to Ofgem no later than the following 14 February.
