Our Energy Billing Solution and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for the energy industry provide UK energy suppliers with the tools to manage customer billing needs through one system and provide a greater customer experience. Our CRM platform helps new and existing electricity or gas suppliers reduce costs by enabling operational control of customer and customer related activities. Access is driven by permission and determines user functionality. At the same time, both electricity billing software and gas billing software system’s structures are easily configured to the desired processes of individual energy suppliers.
Supporting both electricity and gas supplies through the same interface, our energy supplier CRM links via API’s to our market messaging products. This is done through our gas and electricity data flow management systems, GASMAN and REGMAN.
Acting as data flow communication tools, GASMAN and REGMAN provide UK energy suppliers with data views and functionality, traditionally driven by market messaging systems.
Full customer management is driven via a secure and configurable web driven energy billing platform, which provides an umbrella view of a customer’s account and correspondence.
Using our CRM system for energy suppliers, you can define trigger points within the system and automate customer correspondence by letter, email or SMS. This means that you can integrate telephone and email solutions for seamless back-office work and greater customer experience.

Energy billing systems allow you to track usage of the energy you sell to consumers (e.g. gas and electricity) and then manage the billing process based on the usage data acquired. They also simplify and improve all billing activities, by delivering a wide range of features which enable full customisation. Energy suppliers therefore benefit from a bespoke software, which is tailored to their individual requirements.
A DCC Adapter is highly beneficial for any energy business as it allows them to connect and communicate with the Data Communications Company (DCC) supported smart meters network. Adapters are designed to simplify the process and minimise the level of IT development change needed to a supply company’s internal systems. With Dyball Associates, you can benefit from a bespoke DCC Adapter which seamlessly integrates with our CSM as well as any other energy supply CRM systems.
An Energy Management System (EMS) is an automation tool which gathers field data and informs the users through bespoke monitoring features therefore delivering regulatory compliance to energy suppliers. The data can include details on energy usage, industry communications and incidents. This allows energy supply companies to effectively manage and monitor resources and workflow.
As part of our energy managed services, Dyball Associates provide Gas and Electricity Dataflow Management Systems to energy suppliers in the UK through GASMAN and REGMAN. Both of these energy management systems are highly versatile, with REGMAN continuing to receive the lowest possible risk rating from ELEXON during electricity qualification processes. Our communication tools allow electricity and gas supply businesses to operate within both domestic and commercial energy markets using the same system.
The quickest and most efficient way to achieve energy industry accreditation and start supplying is to purchase an off-the-shelf energy supply business. Lawful market entry requires you to obtain a number of qualifications, typically issued by the main regulators of the energy sector: Ofgem, Elexon, MRASCo, SPAA and Xoserve.
The most important qualification is the Ofgem Energy Supply Licence for electricity or gas. Adhering to all the necessary codes and attaining the right licences can often be an onerous process, which is why many aspiring market entrants also opt for the services of professional energy market consultants to help them speed up the process.
Regulations introduced by Ofgem in 2019 state that energy companies can only backdate energy bills for no longer than 12 months.
